Mental Health Program

Since the pandemic in 2020, Sahas has been dedicated to developing mental health curriculums and facilitating workshops aimed at building positive mental health and well-being. These initiatives target adolescents, young people, women, and social activists. Co-founder Mona Yadav, a psychologist, was instrumental in launching the mental health program in June 2020. She designed a mental health course comprising five sessions focused on fostering positive mental health, understanding emotions like anger and sadness, and cultivating joy in everyday life, inspired by insights from His Holiness Dalai Lama in “The Book of Joy.”

The Mental Health Program by Sahas has been a significant initiative since the pandemic, addressing the critical need for mental health awareness and support. With a comprehensive curriculum and various workshops and activities, the program has successfully engaged and benefited a diverse group of participants. By fostering a supportive community and equipping individuals with coping skills, Sahas has made a positive impact on mental health and well-being. The continuous efforts and dedication of the team, led by psychologist Mona Yadav, ensure the program’s effectiveness and sustainability in promoting mental health awareness and positive behavioural changes.
