Sahas was awarded a seed grant and an impact grant in 2017 and 2018 respectively by The Pollination Project. The team at The Pollination Project visited India and spent 2 days filming the work of Sahas at our office and covered our community engagement with adolescents. The film was published under ‘TPP Profiles in Compassion’ on 25th August 2020.


Let’s Talk Education podcast (20th Feb 22): Our co-founder, Mona Yadav was invited as a guest speaker at the podcast, Let’s Talk Education. The podcast focused on understanding gender in education. Mona spoke about her PhD work and gender work at Sahas. The podcast episode is available on Spotify.

Mind and Life Conversations with His Holiness Dalai Lama:  Our co-founder Mona Yadav was selected as one of the 50 scholars across the world to participate in the “Mind and Life” Conversations with His Holiness Dalai Lama on 30th October and 1st November at his residence in Mcleodganj, India. She got the rare opportunity to ask him a question about the education system.
