Aditi and Roshni breaking the shackles of gender and societal norms

Aditi, a 15-year-old girl from Khushipura, was initially very shy and hesitant to participate in any public discussions or activities while Roshni, her cousin of the same age a brilliant student was on the verge of dropping out of school due to a lack of financial support and societal constraints. Through their involvement in the Sahasi Girls program, particularly the mentorship sessions and sports activities, they began to find their voices and raise the challenge of education with the mentors. Both the girls received targeted mentorship, STEM education tutoring and financial support to continue their education. Aditi excelled in her board exams getting the highest marks in the entire village followed closely by Roshni.

Their transformation and academic results underscore the power of mentorship and community support in fostering self-confidence among young girls.
